Becoming A CCA:

If you are intested in becoming a CCA, below is the study guide order form, pre-exam workshop information and online registration, and the certification exam(s) registration.

All exams are now given on-line and you must have access to a webcam and microphone. The cost to write the International exam is $180 US + $53 proctor fee = $233 US.  The cost for the Ontario exam is $100 US + $41 proctor fee = $141 U.S.

Both exams are offered on-demand. You can take the exam at any time throughout the year. Once you register and pay for the exams, you have 60 days to write. If you fail the exam, you must wait 15 days before you register to take it again. Results are immediate once you finish your exam.

If you fail the exams, the cost to re-write the International stays the same, but the Ontario exam fee will drop to $50.00 USD + proctor fee. To use the discounted rate, use ONRETAKE when you check out at registration.

Please note that study material orders are final sale. Study guides will be processed within 1-3 business days of receiving the order and can take 5-7 business days to ship (location dependent).

Individuals who require special accommodations for the exam, please notify our office (519)787-4322 or three weeks prior to registering for your exam.  You must provide documentation from a medical professional regarding required accommodations.

CCA Conference and Annual Meeting

The CCA Conference is a highly anticipated annual event for the Ontario CCA’s to come together and learn about different aspects of agriculture and to improve their knowledge to better serve those in the farming community. Advisors who attend this conference gain the knowledge needed to stay on top of new trends, network with other CCAs and suppliers, and hear from dynamic speakers on a wide range of topics.

Instead of the usual two-day format for the CCA Conference, we have opted for an evening reception the night before (Jan. 10th) and a full day (Jan. 11th) of continuing education. The night before, January 10th, we will have a networking portion and our CCA Board Mentees from the Mentorship program will present their projects. The following day (January 11th) will be a full day of seven presentations. The 2023 CCA Conference will be held at the Best Western Lamplight in London, Ontario. We look forward to seeing you there!
