In partnership with OSCIA, OMAFA, and the Ontario Forage Council, Ontario CCA has developed a micro-credential badge for CCAs and P.Ags who have completed training on rotational grazing.
This badge signifies that an advisor has gone beyond typical training to gain the specific expertise required for rotational grazing plans. By understanding the critical link between forage quality and animal health, advisors build a stronger professional toolkit to bring to the table when working alongside producers and nutritionists.

Requirements
Webinars
Participants are required to watch five hours of webinar content. Three of those webinars can be from previously recorded material. Upcoming webinars hosted by CCA and the Ontario Forage Council will be sent to the rotational grazing mailing list.
In-Person Event
Participants must also attend one in-person event related to rotational grazing. As qualifying events are announced, they will be sent to the mailing list. Generally, if it is approved for an OFCAF KSE in Rotational Grazing, it will be accepted as credit.
Production Metrics Courses
The third component of the badge is completion of two Production Metrics courses online. The first Performance Metrics course is now available! Visit the link below to learn more. An individual membership to the Ontario Forage Council is required to access the course.
The second course will be available winter 2027. For this reason, there is no rush to finish all components as the badge cannot be completed before that second course is released. That being said, the intent of this training badge is to show a commitment to developing knowledge and skills related to rotational grazing. Attending additional webinars and events that fit your schedule is encouraged.
